Who We Are

DLA was started in the late 1970s as a lock and alarm company in Westfield, New Jersey.

After hand-writing many master key systems, we developed computer software to generate master key systems.

This led to the development of our Personnel Key Records / Key System Management programs, designed to manage both personnel key records and facility key systems.

Since 1995 we have developed software for healthcare, educational, correctional, corporate, military facilities, and locksmiths, to create and manage master key systems and personnel key records.

Our software is available for both Windows and Mac OS.

Our software has also been modified to run on the Apple iPad (despite the limitations of the iPad). This applies to both the Windows and Mac versions

We do not contract out our software development. All of our software is written on site.
